EXHIBITION ‘EDUCATION. BIG CHANGES’
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The exhibition ‘Education. Big Changes’ is an immersive adventure from the past to the present, from the present to the future of the Russian system of education.
A schoolboy Vova living in our times and a Soviet schoolgirl Masha show the visitors round the exhibition. In each hall, there are interactive installations that help to delve into the atmosphere of the hall.
SCHEME
A USER’S ROUTE
THE HISTORY OF THE SYSTEM OF EDUCATION
The visitors will travel through the years to learn more about the issues and achievements of the Russian system of education
The journey starts in the Soviet times, then the visitors find themselves in the 90s with the issues and challenges of the period, and learn the aims and goals that Russia set in the 2000s.
INTERESTING MOMENTS
FULL IMMERSION IN THE ATMOSPHERE
We created each hall with special attention to detail to make the visitors deeply feel the atmosphere. Sound signals, architecture, and design of the halls – each of these elements contributed to creating a realistic atmosphere.
PRESENT
Now being aware of the history of education the visitors are given a task from the Ministry of the Future: to find out what is the current situation with the system of education. The journey continues!
INTERACTIVE COLORING BOOK
A pre-school zone explores the issue of comprehensive development including using cartoons, games, and fairy tales.
A huge interactive coloring book with the most beloved characters and gigantic brushes inevitably attracts everyone.
CAREER GUIDANCE
The exhibition also offers career tests and tests to discover your hobbies
The visitors can learn what hobbies suit them best or what professions are in demand in Russia now using a game approach.
PHOTOMECHANICS
At the end of the exhibition, everyone can get a memorable photo
Using neural networks, we integrate the faces of the visitors into great education-themed paintings.
CHARACTERS OF THE EXHIBITIONS
Masha and Vova show the visitors round the exhibition in each hall helping them to better understand and feel the atmosphere
Masha and Vova together with the visitors get surprised, frightened and make discoveries. A slight reference to anime and comic book style helps the characters to be on the same wave as schoolchildren and students – the visitors of the exhibition.
DESIGN
School books are typically bright in color to better distinguish between different subjects
The visual identity of educational programs is also designed using a bright color scheme. We made a stylized school book or notebook pages. Due to this approach we were able to set a vivid temporythmic route for the visitors.
